It was obvious that a snowstorm was moving into the valley. The only question was how soon?

The winds picked up, the snow on the ground started blowing around. I found a sheltered area behind some trees to take a short break and eat a snack. Since it looked like the weather was going to change rather quickly, I decided to stay at this spot in order to get some photos of the incoming snowstorm.

I mean... what the heck? I had struggled all the way up the valley this far. I may as well get something interesting out of it for my efforts.

With some time to kill, I experimented with the capabilities of my new little digital camera to take self-portraits.
