After taking enough photos of the incoming storm, I decided it was time to start back down the valley. It was nice to be moving again, since my fingers and toes had started to reach that "it really hurts" stage of cold while standing there taking photos and changing film in my medium format camera.

I do believe that an artist's work requires dedication, and maybe some sacrifice... but since I have a day job as an engineer to pay the bills, I do not feel any obligation to sacrifice TOO MUCH for my art.

(Especially not my fingers or toes!)
